Our Governance Structure
The General Assembly
The supreme decision-making body composed of all registered members. They meet annually to elect officials and approve plans.
The Executive Committee
Responsible for the implementation of decisions and the management of daily operations.
Subcommittees
Established as necessary to address specific areas such as finance, programs, or welfare.
Office Bearers
Chairperson
- Presides over all meetings
- Provides strategic leadership
- Represents the CBO in official matters
Vice Chairperson
- Assists and deputizes the Chairperson
- Undertakes delegated responsibilities
Secretary
- Keeps accurate records
- Issues notices of meetings
- Prepares reports
Vice Secretary
- Assists the Secretary and acts in their absence
Treasurer
- Receives and accounts for all funds
- Prepares financial reports
- Maintains proper accounting records
Financial Accountability
As per our constitution, we maintain a bank account operated by the Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer. All expenditures are authorized, documented, and audited annually to ensure maximum transparency to our members.
